I’ve owned P90X and P90X+ for years and loved them when I used them. However, I suffered some injuries from overuse due to how the programs are laid out. Basically, the course of the 90 days has you doing a lot of pull-ups. If you are not properly conditioned for this amount of pull-ups, tendentious can occur. Essentially your tendons are not prepared for the amount of workload P90X throws you in to. After switching to a similar style of workout (Turbulence Training & Bodyweight Workouts) I was able to get much better gains and also completely rid myself of the overuse

 

Dreaded workout B with heavy lower body work. Focus is to strengthen legs and core to be able to properly complete a set of 10 reps on each leg doing a “Pistol”, which is a one legged squat.
