Chest and Back, Ab Ripper X – Day 1


I would say day 1 of p90x was a success, I completed all exercises with a good amount of reps and weight.  For all the pull-ups I used the bands with 44 pounds of resistance. The Ab Ripper X part of the workout needs a lot of help, 25 reps on 11 different exercises felt impossible.  I spent today learning most of the moves so that I could at least get in a good amount of each next time.

CHEST & BACK WORKOUT
Standard Push-ups:
2 x 20
Wide Front Pull-ups: 1 x 30 & 1 x 20
Military Push-ups: 2 x 15
Reverse Grip Chin-ups: 2 x 15
Wide Fly Push-ups: 2 x 20
Closed Grip Overhand Pull-ups: 1 x 20 & 1 x 15
Decline Push-ups: 1 x 15 & 1 x 10
Heavy Pants: 2 x 15 w/ 40lbs
Diamond Push-ups: 1 x 10 & 1 x 8
Lawnmowers: 1 x 40 & 1 x 30 w/ 20lbs
Dive-bomber Push-ups: 2 x 10
Back Flys: 2 x 15 w/ 40lbs
